High School Volleyball Playoff Shirts

HS Volleyball Playoff ShirtThe Yearbook Class is selling high school volleyball playoff shirts. The shirts are black with red and white ink and have the roster on the back. Depending on inventory, the shirts will be the soft shirts. Youth sizes might be regular material.  The deadline to order is noon on Thursday, October 28th. Order forms are available in the principal’s office and by using this link. Please turn in all orders to Ms. Hoehn.

Fall Festival is Friday, October 29th 

The annual fall festival will be Friday, October 29th from 6:00-8:00 pm.Fall Festival

Most booths will be located in the main building hallway and cafeteria. A few booths might be outside as well. The cake walk will be located in the cafeteria. All booths will operate on tickets only, and those tickets can be purchased in the main building foyer. Cost of the tickets will be $0.25 each. 

Some of the booths at the carnival will be sucker pull, ring toss, balloon darts, and much more!

High School Halloween Dance-Friday, Oct. 30th

Halloween DanceThe Student Advisory Committee is sponsoring a Halloween dance for all high school students on Friday, October 30th from 7:30 – 10:30 pm in the cafeteria. Admission is free if you wear a halloween costume and $10 if you don’t wear a costume. A concession stand will be available for students to purchase drinks and candy. Please contact Mr. Maass for additional information.

Stop Bullying/Cyberbullying

StopIt Bullying LinkIn compliance with David’s Law, Oglesby ISD is now using the Stop!t app to allow students/parents to anonymously report bulling. When an anonymous report is filed, the school will notify the parent of the student being bullied to discuss the problem and the options available. 

To report a case of bullying, click on the Stop!t logo and use the code Tigers#01  The app can also be downloaded on your mobile device. Go to your App Store and search for the Stop!t bullying app.

Accountability Rating

The 2018-19 TEA accountability rating for Oglesby ISD is rated with an overall rating of B and overall score of 82. For 2019-20 and 2020-21, Texas school districts were not rated due to COVID-19. To view this rating, click here.

District of Innovation Plan 

OISD is moving forward with the District of Innovation plan. The plan will allow the district to obtain more flexibility in order to better meet the unique needs of the district, students, and community. The board adopted final plan can be viewed here
