Change to High School Volleyball Schedule
ALL JV volleyball games have been canceled for the remainder of the season. High School will ONLY play varsity games for the remainder of the season. Game times will remain the same, 5:00 pm on Tuesday and 4:30 pm on Friday.
Change to Lunch Menu
On Tuesday, September 27th the lunch menu will be as follows:
Elementary—Grilled Hot Dogs, Chips, Fruit and Milk
Junior High & High School—Pulled Pork Sandwich, Chips, Fruit and Milk
Mark Your Calendar-Homecoming is Friday, October 7th
Make plans to join us for the parade and bonfire on Wednesday, October 5th at 6:45 pm. Homecoming coronation will be just prior to the game on Friday and kickoff is planned for 7:30 pm.
Spirit Week (Oct. 3-7) Dress-Up Days
All spirit week wear must meet school dress code and can’t be revealing, excessively tight, and must be of appropriate length. Mask and weapons of any type are not allowed with any outfit either. If you have specific questions about your outfit, please see Mr. Maass.

Sign Up for District E-Notes
Parents, students and staff—sign up for district E-Notes to stay informed about bad weather days, early release, delayed starts, school events and other important information going on at school. We will no longer use the School Messenger notification system that would call and leave voice messages. E-Notes will be delivered either text or email (or both) depending on the method you select. Stay informed and get signed up now!

Each teacher will still have their individual E-Notes, but you will have sign up for each of those separately. The quickest way to do this is to go to each teacher’s webpage and sign up.
The Oglesby Independent School District will:
Oglesby ISD adopted an I&S tax rate that will raise more taxes for Interest and Sinking than last year’s tax rate. This money is for bond indebtedness.
The I&S tax rate will effectively be raised by 5.6% percent from $.05830 to $.06158. Additionally, the M&O tax rate stayed the same $1.04. The total tax rate will be $1.10 a $.01 increase from last year.
